This Cooper T51 is fitted with a 2.5ltr Coventry Climax engine and a Colotti 5 speed gearbox. This car was one of two regularly campaigned Rob Walker team cars in 1959.

The T51 model was exceptionally successful. This particular car was driven to victory by

Stirling Moss in the Glover Trophy at Goodwood in the first ever 2.5ltr F1 race in 1959. Maurice Trintignant also drove the car successfully throughout the 1959 season, this included achieving 3rd at the Monaco Grand Prix and 2nd in the USA Grand prix.

The current owner has competed regularly in the car at HGPCA events and has won at both Monaco Historic and Goodwood Revival.
